Mr. Brown has more than 30 years of Commercial & Investment Banking experience. Prior to launching TGC Capital, Mr. Brown worked at Pricewaterhouse Coopers, Scotiabank and most recently the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC).
His last three positions with BDC encompassed several senior level roles, such as:
- Managing Director, Energy Group for Canada,
- Vice President, Lending Solutions for Southern Alberta and
- Vice President, Consulting Group for Western Canada.
Over his Banking career, Mr. Brown was personally responsible for the placement of over one thousand commercial lending transactions. Mr. Brown is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), holds an MBA from Heriot Watt University and holds both a B.Sc. and a B.Comm from Mount Saint Vincent University.
